I’ve created social media content for over a dozen companies, from world-class entrepreneurs to small family-run construction companies.

Communications

I love building connections with audiences, and have channeled that passion into my blogging, journalism, and promo writing.

Filmmaking

From documentaries to music videos, musician reels, commercials, and film scoring, I’ve had a depth of experience in writing, shooting, and editing film.

Digital Marketing

During my time with the Daily Content Machine, I edited social media clips and wrote descriptions for nine companies. Each company got seven clips per week, which was a lot of content! Here are a few examples:

I helped a family-run Canadian home renovation company grow their reach by writing their site copy and editing photo and video content. Our Christmas Cutting Board Giveaway was particularly successful, resulting in 150+ new Facebook page likes and 117 post shares.

Music Marketing

I use social media heavily to promote my singer-songwriter project (here are links to my Instagram and Facebook), and use Photoshop and Canva to create marketing materials. I also create email marketing campaigns through Constant Contact.

Part of my work with the Constitutional Walking Tour of Philadelphia involved pitching and writing blogs to educate internet audiences and extend the company’s web presence. Here are some samples:

Theater

I was a theater major in college, and love writing for the stage! Here are a few of my accomplishments:

• Wrote book, music and lyrics for Tale of the Phantom Ship, a musical which premiered at the Philadelphia Fringe Festival in 2015

• I have an active singer-songwriter project which includes 15 original songs available on streaming services

• Wrote the interactive murder mystery The Wake of Jakey O’Toole, as well as promo materials. The show enjoyed a popular year-long run at the Bistro Romano in Old City Philadelphia.

• Wrote the 10-minute play Loch Lomond, which was a winner at Short Stuff Festival at Temple University

Filmmaking

History Making Productions

I edited dozens of educational clips for this Philly-based company’s YouTube audience. One featuring the former mayor of Philadelphia generated 13K views.

I also wrote, directed, edited, and composed music for a mini-documentary about the Kelly Writer’s House at UPenn.

Walking Tour Commercial

I co-wrote, shot, edited, and recorded voiceover for this promo video, working closely with the company to effectively capture brand messaging.

Feature-Length Documentary

I co-wrote, co-directed, and co-edited the feature documentary Children of the Promise, a retrospective on Christian Missions in Haiti produced by IFAF.

Music Videos & Reels

I’ve created more than a dozen music videos and reels for my singer-songwriter project, including a folk music series and a music video parody that’s reached over 270K views on YouTube. I’ve also composed original music for the short films Extra Cheese Please and The Selkie’s Song, which was funded by Creative Scotland.
